A proud but aging jewelry salesman (Robert Forster) is forced to train his own replacement (Donnie Wahlberg), a brash kid whose every move rubs him the wrong way. But in no time at all, the tables are turned as a student talks the teacher into curing his loneliness at a smalltown massage parlor.
